At Tirupathi

We had been to Tirupathi last month. I managed to capture (it is very difficult to make him pose for a photo these days!) some of the lovely expressions of Adi Kutty...

Brother-in-law's wedding

I just love these snaps - both of us clad in traditional attire. Ruban was looking very smart in his pattu vaeshti. Some even mistook him to be the 'maapillai':)

Fun at Mayajaal

There are so many ways to entertain the little ones these days. Gone are the days when we used to sit before the Doordarshan every Sunday watching 'He-Man and the master of the Universe' and the regional movie. The kids want to do something different and new every weekend and they refuse to go to the same old beach every Sunday. It really becomes difficult for us to choose and take them to exciting and new places every weekend. We spent a fun-filled and exciting day at Mayajaal.

At the games spot...I believe these games are only for kids(?)!
Adi Kutty with his cousins
Ruban trying his hand at Bowling...releases the ball thinking it would knock down all pins...but...
Ouch!

At Pichavaram

Recently, we had visited Pichavaram along with my sis and her kids. I have never been there before and the whole experience was enthralling. The boatride through the mangroove forest was both soothing and exciting. The overhanging branches and the dark channels gives you a thrilling experience. Few pictures taken from the boat....

With his favourite playmates!

These photos were clicked when he was quite small, a year and a half old. He now looks tall and thin. He's growing up!

Sweet 'old' memories

We just happened to retrieve data from one of our old hard discs and there we found this treasure! A few snaps clicked during our first and only(?!) honeymoon.  Truly wonderful moments! You cannot really call it a honeymoon because we travelled to these places after 6 months of our wedding.

Do I have horns?

Do I have horns? Everybody says so. I am not able to see it. Can you?

Kolli Hills - What a place!

We had been to Kolli Hills this Jan (would you imagine travelling to a hill station in the month of January, wierd, isn't it?). It was just an enchanting experience. The beauty of the hills just held us spellbound. We thoroughly enjoyed each and every moment of our stay. The entire trip was so good and nourishing except for one thing which brought down the spirit of the whole trip. After three days of fun and enjoyment, we were all decked up to start back home. In just a fraction of a moment, when all of us were around, Adi just fell down and hit his chin against a cement slab. There was a deep cut in his chin and we had to rush him to a primary health care centre (there are no hospitals in the area). To our dismay, there was no doctor available in the health care centre. We had to find out the doctor's house and get the doctor to the center to treat Adi. The whole experience was quite traumatic. Even now, when I see the mark on his chin, it gives me mixed feelings. It not only reminds me of the dreadful fall he had but also reminds me of the visually captivitating Kolli Hills. This is a place which we all will never forget in one way or the other.

Few snaps for you to enjoy :)

Our recent trip to Gangai Konda Cholapuram

Gangai Konda Cholapuram is near Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu. What a splendid and brilliant work by Rajendra Cholan! It is an exact replica of Brihadeeswarar Temple, Thanjavur. We had been there on a pleasant Sunday evening and had a good darshan. Kutty had a great time playing in the grassy area there. A few snaps to cherish the sweet moments...

A spectacular view of the temple

Isn't this the latest fashion?

Yet another proof that showcases his love for sunglasses!

The Spiderman look!

He just loves this dress so much. He almost transmuted himself into Spiderman and gave us a scary look. What more do we need for a perfect click?

At KFC!

Shocked to see me sitting with a KFC basket? Well, I was just posing for a snap! Ruban wanted to click one like this so that he could show it to everybody and make them believe that I had my piece of pie! Hmmm...the basket in front indeed looks yummy but not irresistable as my favourite Sambar and Potato fry. What an enjoyable and memorable moment!

In Chennai

We had been to City Center recently. Adi Kutty had a great time at the Fun City there. He was very excited to see so many games and he wanted to try everything. He started off with this helicopter, tried everything else and then came back to this helicopter for a second round.

Our recent trip to Velankanni

We had been to Velankanni recently. What a magnificient and beautiful church! What I couldn't stand there was the scorching heat. It was too hot and made us crave for more and more water.
